Perhaps because there never should have been a beginning, i.e., you should not have been ordained.
Back when I worked for Andersen Consulting, we used the acronym PURE to designate a bad fit - "Previously Undetected Recruiting Error." Be honest with yourself and ask whether your vocation was to serve or be admired.
